I am on my chums(periods)
Tomorrow I have a vacation/date/exam scheduled. Have you ever felt this? Then we are on the same boat as this happens to me all the time. I can’t wear my favorite body-fit dress, which I was saving for this special event. How I’m gonna concentrate on my exam. The most common when I realize my period is on and see damn I don’t have sanitary napkins and it becomes worse when out… It’s difficult, I must say, to handle it every month. Now I carry one always on my way out.
Period cramps are the worst… show some mercy on us. It comes every month. I skip all my plans when my periods are about to begin. You know what I admire the most is when some exceptionally great-great girls or I must say, warriors of the 21st century, even on the first day of their periods have night-outs.
Girls, don’t stress out.Don’t want to ruin your plans? When it’s important to go out or work and need to get rid of this unexpected pain in the eventful week.
Here are some remedies which might help in reducing pain and help us to do our day-to-day activities.
But first, do you know why cramps, bloating, back pain or mood swings occur. Is it normal to have pain and cramps? Yes, but a little pain that doesn’t stop you from doing day-to-day activities. During your menstrual period, your uterus contracts to help expel its lining and your hormones do play a very important role.
We need to put an end to the pain that comes along.
1) HOTPACK: Use a heating pad on your lower abdomen or lower back or have a hot-tub bath.
2)OVER THE COUNTER (OTC): Over-the-counter means you can buy these medicines without a prescription (not recommended). Over-the-counter pain relievers, such as ibuprofen, ketoprofen, Naproxen. But consult your doctor. Once consulted it works best in pain.
3)OIL MASSAGE and ROLL ONS: They’re also recognized as powerful aromatherapy tools for easing stress and anxiety. Massaging the oils into the affected area is considered to be the best approach. Add a few drops of your preferred oil to carrier oil. What is a carrier oil, right! Carrier oils are used to dilute essential oils and “carry” them to your skin. Carrier oil like coconut oil and jojoba oil and mix with lavender oil, cinnamon oil, or peppermint oil. There are also many innovative products like roll-on offered by many brands such as Peesafe, mama earth, which will roll the pain away.
Besides all this, consider this time as ME-Time and make yourself feel comfortable.
Watch your favorite Netflix show which you scheduled to watch. EAT EAT EAT.. your favorite snack, give yourself a head massage and sleep, talk to your friends.
You will definitely feel better, happy and motivated.
Sharing is Caring💖
