Are you not familiar with the name “Yashasvi Jaiswal” ?
I guess not many of us has ever heard this name, even if you are a die-heart cricket fan. So, Who is this Yashasvi Jaiswal?

Starting from the beginning, his life began on 28 December 2001 in Suriyawan, Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh, India. His father’s name is Bhupendra Jaiswal, owner of a small hardware store, and his mother is Kanchan Jaiswal, a housewife.
Struggle- The most inspiring Part
At the age of ten, he moved to Dadar, Mumbai, in order to receive cricket training at Azad Maidan. As Dadar was far away from the Maidan ( ground ), he relocated to Kalbadevi the neighborhood where he was given accommodation in a dairy shop in return for low-grade work. Being from a lower-middle-class background, he had to manage to work to earn his livelihood. Otherwise, his dream would never come true!!

But, unfortunately, he was unable to manage his time between cricket training and the work. So, he was eventually ousted by the shopkeeper. Having no place of his own, Jaiswal stayed in a tent with the groundsmen at the Maidan, where he often slept hungrily and sold panipuri to make both the ends meet.
We cannot even imagine what he must have gone through when he was discharged from the shop and was forced to sleep hungry. We are so fortunate that these things never came to our door. But, only a struggling chap like him knows the value of a dream.
Changing Point in Yashasvi’s Life
After living in tents for three years, Jaiswal’s cricketing talent was spotted in December 2013 by Jwala Singh, who ran a cricket academy in Santacruz, Mumbai. Singh took Jaiswal under his wing and provided him with a place to stay, before becoming his legal guardian and obtaining power of attorney.

Only few people are there in this world who appreciates talent. Jwala Singh was one of them. He proved to be a life-changer or we say Godfather for Jaiswal.
Jaiswal then made every effort to break through his dreams. And with his dedication, he was selected for the Ranji Trophy and Vijay Hassan trophy and played very well. Becoming a headliner, he played many under 19 matches as a captain and performed very well. His performance is also mentioned in the Limca Book of World records.
Under-19 to IPL
After playing so well as an Under-19 player, he was selected in Indian Cricket team. And, in October 2019, he became the youngest cricketer in the world to score list- A double century. He has been signed by Rajasthan Royals for ₹2.4 crores to play in IPL 2020.

So, the game went on and now…
Sharing is Caring💖
